In the lab · a two-week test

Every RouterOS export, every version.

Pull the configuration export from every MikroTik router over SSH, keep every version, and see exactly what changed between visits. Drift alerts, a fleet view, copy-to-restore for any block, and a zip or git export for the NOC. No server, no cloud: the phone and the routers.

1line of configuration is enough to take a site down; the diff shows which one

What it does 01 / 03
  1. Add routers. Address, port, SSH key or password in the phone's keychain; import a fleet from CSV, or scan the LAN for MikroTik neighbours and add them in one tap. Tags for site and role.
  2. Back up. One tap for one router or the whole fleet: the app runs the export over SSH, hashes it, and stores it as a version with the time and who ran it. On Wi-Fi or over the NOC VPN.
  3. Diff. Any two versions side by side, changed lines highlighted, noise such as timestamps filtered. Search the whole fleet's current configuration for an address, a firewall comment or a VLAN.
  4. Watch for drift. A backup that differs from the last approved version flags the router in the fleet view. Approve it or open the diff.
  5. Restore and export. Copy any block as RouterOS commands, or push it back over SSH after a confirmation. Export the fleet as a zip, or push to a git remote so the NOC has history.

Planned price: free for 5 routers; Pro USD 24.99 once, per platform; Team USD 9.99 a month for scheduled backups through a small NOC agent. iOS and Android. RouterDiff is not affiliated with MikroTik; it works with RouterOS devices.

Who it is for 02 / 03

Integrators and small ISPs

Ten to three hundred RouterOS devices and no configuration management yet.

The engineer on site

Changed something last month and needs to know exactly what, before touching it again.

The NOC

Wants the configuration history in git without running another server.

One question 03 / 03

Tell us how you do it today.

We are deciding whether to build RouterDiff on what engineers tell us in the next two weeks. One answer and an email address is enough.

Would you pay USD 24.99 once for the Pro version (unlimited routers, fleet search, drift alerts, git export)?

A test, not a launch. If enough engineers want it, we build it and tell you. If not, we tell you that too. Your address is used for nothing else.
