Curry Pinger privacy.

The short version: Curry Pinger Lite and Curry Pinger Pro don’t collect, store or share any personal information.

Effective 11 October 2026 · Terawiz Consulting, Johannesburg, South Africa

This policy covers the Curry Pinger Lite and Curry Pinger Pro apps for iOS, published by Terawiz Consulting (“Terawiz”, “we”, “us”). Our general policy for the website and our other services is on the privacy policy page.

1. What the apps collect

Nothing. The apps have no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and they include no third-party software that collects data.

2. What the apps do with your data

  • Ping packets — when you start a ping, the app sends ICMP echo requests from your device to the address that you enter. Like any network traffic, these packets carry your device’s IP address to that destination. Nothing is sent to Terawiz.
  • Settings — the last address and ping settings that you used are saved on your device so that the form is filled in the next time you open the app. They never leave your device, and they are removed when you delete the app.
  • Exported results — in Curry Pinger Pro, you can export a result through the iOS share sheet. The result goes only to the app and recipient that you choose.
  • Local network access — iOS asks for permission before an app can reach devices on your local network. The apps use this permission only to ping local addresses that you enter.

3. Children

The apps are not directed at children, and they collect no information from anyone.

4. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this address with a new effective date.
